CURTAIN TYPE FIRE DAMPERS  

CURTAIN type fire dampers are installed where ventilation or air conditioning ducts penetrate walls or floors that separate the building into fire compartments and prevent the spread of fire inside the building through the air conditioning and ventilation systems. Optionally, they come with a terminal switch for sending a signal to BMS and an open-closed indicator.

  • Rectangular and circular dampers available (rectangular frame with circular hole).
  • Βλαδεσ in (type A) or outside (type B) the air flow.
  • Optional additional frame which allows expansion of the damper in case of fire, without affecting the structural integrity of the wall or floor in which the damper is installed.

 

CURTAIN TYPE FIRE DAMPER FD

  • Construction of galvanized sheet metal. Possibility of manufacturing from stainless steel sheet 316 or 430, upon request.
  • Dimensions from 100 mm to 1.200 mm. Ability to connect 2 or more dampers in a single assembly for dimensions exceeding 1.200 x 1.000 mm.
  • Fire resistance class E120 (structural integrity for 120 minutes), according to EN-13501-3 standard .
  • LPCB certified (LPS 1162).
  • Installation according to BS EN1366-2 and BS 476-20/22 standards.
  • Comply with the temperature / time curve as defined in ISO 834 and EN1363-1 standards.
  • They have a fusible contact, set for damper expansion at 72 °C or alternatively, upon request, at 95 °C, 124 °C, 145 °C and 182 °C.
  • Damper closing through strong springs made of Inox 302. Reset is done manually.

 

CURTAIN TYPE FIRE DAMPER NCA WITH ELECTROMAGNET or SOLENOID COIL

  • Fire resistance class E120 (structural integrity for 120 minutes), according to standard EN-15650.
  • It has CE certification. Tested to BS EN1366-2, BS EN13501-3 and BS ISO 10294-4 standards.
  • It has a fusible contact, set for damper expansion at 72 °C or alternatively, upon request, at 96 °C, 145 °C and 183 °C.
  • Closing of the damper, when the power is cut or when the damper receives a signal from a detector or the central control system, through a 24V AC / DC or 230V AC electromagnet.
