• 2 drive modes from motor to fan :

(a) Direct drive, with the motor mounted on top of the fan.

(b) Drive shaft and flexible couplings, with the motor mounted on the roof of the tower next to the fan. This mode of transmission is easy to maintain and is preferred in large tower sizes.
