The size of the tower is chosen so that it cooperates perfectly with the water-cooled cooling complex of the installation even with heavy weather conditions such as increased humidity in the atmosphere, e.g. on a rainy summer day or in facilities that are close to the sea, such as hotels etc. It is recommended that the cooling towers are to be selected for a wet bulb temperature of 23 °C to 26 °C (sea) and that its rated efficiency is at least 25% greater than the rated efficiency of the water-cooled cooling installation with which it is to co-operate.
