AIRTECHNIC's sound attenuating louvres SAR, are specially designed to prevent unwanted noises from entering and exiting a building.

With a sound-absorbing element made of unburnt rockwool, SAR sound attenuating louvres have all the characteristics of weather grilles, offer protection from rain, low resistance to air flow and do not allow the entry of birds and large insects. The recommended air velocity on the free surface of the louvre should be up to 2,5 m/sec to avoid any inflow of water in case of heavy rainfall. The maximum recommended velocity is 6 m/sec.

SAR : contruction of the louvre with frame.

The frame and sound-absorbing blades are made of galvanized sheet metal. A grid is placed on the back of the frame. Upon request, it is possible to manufacture from aluminium, stainless steel sheet or galvanized sheet electrostatically painted in RAL color.
